Yesterday, 22 July 2008, State Secretary for European Affairs Barbra Borota participated in the meeting of the General Affairs and External Relations Council (GAERC).

In the foreground of discussions was the issue of the Western Balkans, primarily in the light of the recent arrest of the Hague Tribunal war crimes indictee Radovan Karadžić.

In the margins of the meeting, State Secretary Barbra Borota met with European Commissioner Dr Janez Potočnik and French State Secretary Jean-Pierre Jouyet. With the latter she exchanged views on the priorities of the French Presidency.
